About This Pipe
Named after an Italian nobleman, Ser Jacopo was founded by the renowned craftsman Giancarlo Guidi after he left the Maestro de Paja workshop. The Ser Jacopo workshop is celebrated for creating the Pesaro shaping aesthetic and crafting classically rendered Italian pipes with unique, intricate finishes. This Apple is more reserved compared to the workshop's usual offerings, yet it still maintains elements of neoclassical shaping, particularly at the fore. The bowl features added muscularity in its heel, giving it a substantial feel in the hand. Transitioning from the bowl is a stout, upturned shank adorned with a lavish silver fitment, courtesy of Ser Jacopo's Pulchra series. The profile is completed with a sleek stem made of black acrylic, which features stylized rings along the junction that accentuate the silver. The stummel is dressed in a mahogany-hued rustication, creating a wealth of texture to enjoy while smoking.
