About This Pipe
Founded by artisan Simone Gaudenzi after years spent refining his craft alongside Giancarlo Guidi at the famed Ser Jacopo workshop, Valbruna Pipes reflects Gaudenzi's personal vision, shaped by tradition, experimentation, and the Adriatic coast of his hometown, Gabicce Mare. Named after a local legend of a city lost beneath the sea, Valbruna pairs classic Italian shaping with Simone's own creative style, resulting in pipes that balance careful craftsmanship and a distinct sense of character.
This Billiard from Valbruna features a tall, stout bowl that tapers from its plump heel to a taut rim. The shank is set low on the bowl, emphasizing the bowl's height, and stretches outward before softly tapering into an acrylic stem. A crisp rustication dresses the stummel, lending the composition an alluring texture in distinctive Italian fashion.
