Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
Perfect for a cool October night
C&D never fail to delight, and their Autumn Evening is testament to that statement because it's their best selling aromatic pipe tobacco. Whether purchased in the tin or in bulk, you can't go wrong with this exquisite blend.

Velvet - Velvet 7oz
Sip it like a fine brandy
Velvet is another one of those old-timey tobaccos that have certainly endured the test of time. It's a good, mellow burley, but will bite if you puff like a steam locomotive. The secret to enjoying Velvet is to sip it like a fine brandy.

Granger - Granger 7oz
You just can't go wrong with a good dog!
Granger has been turning heads for as long as I can remember. It's a fine choice if you're in the mood for a good nostalgic blend of early Americana. Perfect for a sunny summer day sitting on the back porch watching the grass grow.

Sir Walter Raleigh - Aromatic 7oz
Sir Walter never fails to please
Sir Walter was the go-to tobacco for many of the older generation. As a kid growing up in the 1960s, I remember George, the 70 year old gentleman that lived next door, always sitting on his front porch with a pipe loaded with Sir Walter. It's a great blend for beginners, and in fact, many in my generation started right here. Believe it or not, I still keep Sir Walter in my rotation even to this day.

Prince Albert - Prince Albert 14oz
The Prince is a winner!
As a long-time pipe smoker, I would rank Prince Albert right up there with Carter Hall. The tub note is amazing, the room note is pleasant, and the flavor is enjoyable and pairs well with coffee or espresso.

Carter Hall - Carter Hall 14oz
A timeless classic
Carter Hall is one of those old tobaccos that oftentimes flies under the radar of today's younger generation of pipe smokers. But us old-timers know a good thing when we see it, and most of us have been smoking Carter Hall for 40 years or more. Indeed, it's a timeless classic and is always in my rotation!

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - 1882 Founder's Blend 1.76oz
A very robust tobacco!
Erik Stokkebye's 4th Generation "1882" Founder's Blend is an outstanding, very robust tobacco. It pairs well with coffee or a stout beer. If you love a good English, you won't be disappointed here!

Captain Black - Royal 7oz
This one's a toss up
I'm going to be honest here... I can't tell the difference between Captain Black ROYAL and Captain Black ORIGINAL. They're both decent tobaccos, but I have no idea why they'd release two different labels that are basically identical? Bag note, room note, and flavor are the same... at least to me anyway.

Captain Black - Dark 1.5oz
One of my favorite CB blends
I must admit that Captain Black DARK is one of my favorite blends in their line. In fact, the only blend I like better is their GOLD. It has a very nice tin note, room note, and a mild enjoyable flavor. Yes, there's a reason why Captain Black is the #1 best selling pipe tobacco in the world!

Captain Black - Cherry 1.5oz
A lovely room note
Every time I light up Captain Black CHERRY in public, I always get many compliments. Clearly the room note is a crowd pleaser. The flavor is alright, yet mild and not overpowering. It's a good tobacco for the price.

Captain Black - Original 1.5oz
This is where I started
My grandpa smoked Captain Black ORIGINAL, and it was the aroma I remember when I was a kid back in the day. In 1979, my grandpa introduced me to pipe smoking, and of course, it was Captain Black ORIGINAL that became my first smoke. Granda passed away in 1986, and I still keep a jar as my way to honor his life. It's a good nostalgic smoke and I still enjoy it all these years later.

Captain Earle's - Private Stock 2oz
My NEW Private Stock!
Private Stock is the only tobacco that I've tried from the Captain Earle line (produced by C&D), but I've enjoyed it do well that I intend to sample the entire line over this next coming year. I loved everything about this blend... from the packaging to the smoking and everything in between... it was everything I could ask for in a non-aromatic pipe tobacco. It smokes exceptionally well in my Savinelli Oceano 111.

Cornell & Diehl - Black Frigate 2oz
All aboard!
If you love a strong English blend, then come aboard the good ship, Black Frigate! C&D has once again created a wonderful premium blend for an astounding price! The crumble cake is easy to prepare, pack, and light; the tin note is fantastic; the flavor is bold, with hints of raw earthiness and fine leather, and the room note is perfect for every sea Captain, young or old.

Davidoff - Flake Medallions 50g
Pleasing to the eye and the tastebuds
Davidoff of London has produced some fine cigars over the years, and their coin-cut medallion flaked pipe tobacco is just as enjoyable. One coin is perfect for the average sized bowl. Easy to prepare, easy to pack, easy to light, stays lit, and has an enjoyable flavor and room note.

Capstan - Flake Blue 1.75oz
A nice mellow English
Capstan Blue is a testament to the high quality of a traditional English royal navy flake. It smokes cool and mild, and stays lit fairly well.
