Drucquer & Sons - Blairgowrie 100g
Not bad
I was expecting more, but was disappointed. I have to ask, Where is the latakia? All the other tobaccos were present, but it seems to me the latakia was missing altogether. I was hoping for something close to Rattray's "Highland Targe" as it is hard to get. Smoked it in a fresh Peterson's "Sherloke Holms Watson". Not sure I will try another tin of this.

A little disappointed
I had seen a review of this blend elsewhere comparing it to "Frog Morton", and I can say it isn't even close. Not sure if it is the age (date on tin is 12/26/24) but I couldn't smell the latakia from the tin. Wasn't even present in the flavor or room note. Do not think I will purchase again.

Reminiscent of SPC Mississippi River
Worth a solid 5 (10 actually). This blend is reminiscent of Seattle Pipe Club's "Mississippi River Rum Barrel Aged, but with a little more latakia. I did miss the perique, but I can live without it. Smoked in a fresh Nording apple churchwarden.

Excellent
This is an excellent blend. I have been looking for a replacement for McClelland's Oriental Mixture No. 14, one of four regular blends from them, the others being Dark Star, Frog Morton and Frog Morton On The Bayou. Was smoked in a fresh Peterson pipe and fell in love with this blend. The aroma from the tin was intense and the flavor was everything I crave in an English blend. Will definitely stock up on this.
