Wessex - Burley Slice 50g
Creamy and deep
Tin note is like chocolate bread. I was expecting it to be heavy but its actually quite mild and its not a bad thing. Very nutty and molasses type flavors with a hint of woody grassy notes. good flavor and good depth but not a heavy burley if thats what youre looking for. Burns fantastic either rubbed out or roll stuffed. 0 tongue bite I would buy this again just because its hard to get can alternate between this and other hard to gets like Solani aged burley flake

Tasty blend , sweet and easy all day smoke
People argue if this is an english or not, it really doesn't it seem like it to me , but i truly really don't care at all! its super tasty and has this lingering sweetness that's pleasant. the latakia is not overwhelming and blends with the other components perfectly. Theres like this smokey, tartness upfront with a sweet finish and after taste. I would recommend this ateast to try it once its a very pleasnt smoke

Bag Note: you're immediately greeted by a rich, inviting aroma that lives up to its aromatic designation. It smells like marshmallows with a hint of Carmel/chocolate. First half of the bowl: The flavor in the smoke largely follows the bag note, delivering a consistent and mellow sweetness. You'll find notes of burnt marshmallow (in a good way) to be prominent, accompanied by a very distant chocolatey note Room Note: sweet, and inviting. It's a crowd-pleaser, draws compliments from non-smokers. Think of a warm, sweet, pastry bakery. Burn and Moisture: Puffing too aggressively or smoking it too wet can lead to some gurgle or a warmer smoke. If you don't dry it out you will be left with a wet bottom of the bowl, i leave it up to you. NO TONGUE BITE! its very forgiving if you want to puff on it but you will burn out the flavor puffing on it too fast its not worth it Second half of the bowl: The marshmallow flavors fade to the background and more of the natural tobacco flavors become more prominent. You get a little hint more of the bitter chocolate note especially on retro-hale. Overall an enjoyable smoke but i do recommend drying just because it produces allot of moisture leading to gurgle and wet bowl
