Cult - Blood Red Moon 50g
Appetizing
I agree generally with the flavor profile given by Hobbiton Piper over on the youtubes… definitely twizzler-ish flavor when smoking, plus maybe prune or date. Tobacco is usually known for lowering your appetite or making you feel not hungry but every time I’ve smoked it thus far, I have gotten the strangest sensation of an empty stomach as an aftertaste, and not in a bad way, like smelling an aroma that just gives you a great big appetite. It reminded me of smelling my grandma’s red currant pies, and although not the same flavor, the effects on my appetite were even more pronounced, like my grandmas lemon pie and how that smelled. Not one I’d smoke regularly, even as someone who likes aromatics, this is more of a “every-other-day or so” smoke for me. The few times I’ve smoked this I did start munching a bit too much afterwards. Be warned lol. Only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that I am not the biggest fan of cherries in general, but even so this was very enjoyable.

Finally tried it and was blown away
I’m an aromatic smoker, I began smoking about a year and a half ago with haunted bookshop and sutliff’s blue Danube, both of which I liked, but blue Danube a bit more, after which I tried horizons by G.L. Pease and camping by cobblestone outdoor, both of which I didn’t like, and autumn evening by C&D which I like a bunch and replaced blue Danube for me as a go-to pipe tobacco. Deciding to try this after how highly it is praised was a godsend, and I’m sorry I didn’t try this as my very first pipe tobacco. It tastes like challah bread with maybe a little hint of cinnamon or raisin, maybe even like those Russian kulich Easter cakes when you get a good amount of the frosting in a bite. The smell is heavenly, I love the smell and taste of bread, especially challah. I would even argue that despite not being an aromatic it definitely can be considered flavorful like an aromatic… This is the first pipe tobacco I’m going to buy in bulk and cellar and cherish real good. Trust me guys, gals, you have to try it, this is an absolute must, a true pleasure to smoke. I loaded my first bowl poorly, I came off autumn evening and loading that sum’a’biscuit like crazy without any hitch and overloaded it my first time but even so it was an absolute delight. Load a little less than you expect and it will reward you with a beautiful smoking experience, chef’s kiss. I cannot recommend this enough
