About This Pipe
I picked up this amiable pipe and, ever willing to play "Mr. Bones", asked Adam "Husky?!". He replied "Yeah, you can't call something you love "chubby" or "fat". Like in the kids department of a store. "husky"". Though I must admit that I blinked, wore a blank look on my face and had to think about it a second, as a formerly very chubby kid, "Husky" did make me feel a whole lot better than "Porker". This also serves as a fine illustration that Adam carries about him a rather different way of thinking about things and, thankfully, that difference carries over to his pipes. A bit Northern Italian-esque in some aspects, a tad American new wave in others, this pipe with its subtly fore-tilted bowl still manages to be palpably different than either school. As you can see, the grain of this chubby. erm, husky charmer is fabulous and Adam made a great move by electing to let the natural beauty of the briar shine through.
