Smooth Apple with Silver (One Egg) Tobacco Pipe

This is a particularly fine little firepot of a straight Apple, and I say that not only in terms of its clean, classical, compact-bowled design, but also in regards to the particularly lively, smoky flame grain of the briar it's been shaped from. Both the classical shaping and the rich grain are simultaneously emphasized by L'Anatra's use of a deep, dark black-and-walnut finish, which strikes a perfect balance between providing grain contrast and maintaining a reserved palette.
