About This Cigar
Queen of the West Bel D'Oro (Beautiful Gold), is the first full release by Creekside Cigar Co., and it is the opening chapter of a three-part story they are looking to share with the cigar world. The name is an ode to the city of Cincinnati and its historic nickname that was immortalized by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in the mid-1800s.
This is a medium-full bodied cigar blended by David Imber, Creekside owner and cofounder, at Tabacalera La Isla. This factory is in the Dominican Republic and was founded by Hostos Fernandez Quesada in 2020. Hostos spent two decades at Quesada Cigars working for his uncle, Manuel "Manolo" Quesada before opening up this factory. Featuring an ASP Ecuadorian Connecticut Desflorada wrapper, Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and fillers from Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, and the USA, this cigar has layers for you to flip through as you read its story!
"This cigar is the evolution of Creekside...We built a blend that brings real excitement, both in flavor and in the experience around it. But more than anything, this one is for our people. The ones who have supported our dream from the beginning." - David Imber
