Eladio Diaz has been working with tobacco since he was six years old, and is a respected figure in the cigar industry. Rising to a position of prominence during his 35-year career with Davidoff, Diaz was one of the brand's most trusted blenders, additionally overseeing production and quality control for one of their factories. In 2021, Diaz struck out on his own, founding an eponymous cigar brand and establishing a factory in the Dominican Republic, all to be run by him and his family. Diaz's decades of experience blending and his rigorous quality standards culminate in a portfolio that's as flavorful as it is elegant and innovative: all without sacrificing consistency.

The Before & After is Eladio Diaz's first regular production cigar, meant to encapsulate the concept of Diaz's time before, when he was an employee at a factory, and after, witnessing him and his children forging their own path. Blend-wise, Before & After features a remarkably complex combination of Dominican fillers, including Broadleaf, Habano 92, Habano 2000 & Piloto Cubano varietals, covered by a Dominican Habano 2000 binder, and an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper. A rich, medium-bodied cigar, the Before & After offers tasting notes of bread, cedar, and coffee.
