elland does Virginia. That being said, this is totally different, flavorful, but at the same time, leaves you wanting more at the end of the a bowl. The tin note smells like Hickory Smoked Bacon.. really sexy hickory smoked bacon...Its not fair to call it a Virginia though.. it has so much more going on.. The Orientals and perique fight with each other, and the Lat is hanging out in the back, just chillin; letting you know every couple of sips, that its still there.. Its great stuff. Read Less

Perhaps the mildist and blandist tobaccos I have ever packed in a pipe.If I strained my palate I could say there was the faintest hint of chocolate. Not worth the effort to puff on in my opinion.

think labeling it as English does it a disservice. I understand the technical aspect that it includes Latakia and therefore… but from first to last light I felt I was smoking a Virginia blend. A very rich, creamy, smooth, fruity Virginia blend but if you are looking for an English I personally like SPCs Potlatch and WildMan better. Read Less

notes of a ketchup/vinegar like flavor upon lighting which I don’t like.. I LOVE. That will last about the first third of the bowl and then turn into a savory BBQ note. For a Balkan/English blend, this blend actually delivers a pleasant room note, which even the wife noticed. It has earned its place in my rotation. Any aficionado of English or Va/Per blends needs to at least give this blend a try. Highly recommended. Read Less

Although I didn’t buy this from the website I enjoy this blend. Retrohaling really lets me enjoy this mix. Mellow but very tasty mildly sweet and smoky. I smoked a lot of Dunhill blends and find this as a nice smoke in between bowls.

I found this to be flavorless and boring. It was a tiny bit better than plum pudding but the same messy presentation and mediocre type of quality leaf. Not on par with other tobacco in this price range.
