Ah - the upside down experience I had with the Cherry Jubilee has righted itself - now I am back to a cherry blend that tastes like industrial cleaning product.
Here’s the bitch with cherry blends - 99% of the time they smell so good in the bag. Here’s this blend said “I’m in the 1%” and smelled like a chemical cherry solvent , while not as bad as BRM, but still very industrial.
Two bowls were all I could take here. And what’s weird is the light up was an assault of the bio-cheryyical warfare agent - then it went away. I had hope. But alas , retro hale and post smoke aftertaste are a sad reminder of what I went through, like finding a picture of your ex on top of the fridge when you’re moving out of the apartment you shared. There was hope. Maybe even some infatuation. But in the end just sadness and regret.
Second bowl , or as I’ve come to think of it as the “clouds and ash” bowl - I could push some billowing smoke from it , and oddly where usually this would hurt a flavor profile here for me , the self recognitized hater of cherry blends in general , I was surprised it kinda “cooked off” the cherry and I could get a little bit of the base Virginia and burley. But why walk through shit to pick an apple if you can just walk beside the fence ?
Not a fan. Sure some folks are. Probably a top ten seller. But if it is your jam, rest easy knowing I will never be standing between you and another ounce of this.
My rating : 1 - I never (ever ever) want to have this blend again.
*By the way, this marks 10% of the blends checked so far. This is the 10th of 101 , and I only have one more to go that was rated by sub 3.0.

taste. This actually tastes like dark cherry fruit and it’s very good. Is it strong? yes. Is it over the top strong like most drugstore cherry flavored pipe tobacco? Absolutely not. It’s strong without being too strong. But the amazing thing is the flavor actually is Real fruit.
