Anniversary and Camacho Scorpion sungrown as my "go tos" so you can understand my pallette) I think you would be well served trying the SPC blends. On tin opening, I was pleasantly surprised. A very dark BBQ smell, in the best way. Room note was vinegary, again, in the best way. This is the best SPC tin I have tried so far & I have already bought an additional tin to cellar. another great smoke from SPC, it took me a while to figure out what this smoke reminds me of but open a tin of this up beside a bag of BBQ chips and try to tell the difference, 10/10 would recommend

y relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. No flavoring detected. Taste is mild to medium and somewhat consistent, with notes of floral, smoky, tangy stewed fruit, wood, dry earth, sour vegetation, herbal, savory, mild incense, spices, orange peel/zest, bitter, mildly spicy, a sometimes lemon grass and sometimes dark fruit background note, and a mild peppery retro. Latakia is leading with Oriental/Turkish and Virginia supporting. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is great. Read Less

Simple. Complex. Everything in between. It is just plain enjoyable. I love all of the SPC blends, but this is my preferred blend to enjoy throughout the day.

smoke while the dark,fruity Virginas and the smoky latakia take turns in coming in 2nd place. The grassy, citrusy, bright Virginas are mere condiment and hard to notice if you arent concentrating on the notes of the smoke.
The disappointment of the blend is in its inconsistency. Though the blend tends to keep Oriental forward throughout the smoke, the Virginias and the Latakia waver in strength and flavor. The sweetness of the Orientals is present at times but simply isnt enough to satisfy. I imagine a slight increase of bright Virigina would assist in bringing forth need sweetness.
Update: I usually smoke Oriental/English blends in larger bowls but this blend improved with a medium sized. It did tend to heat up quicker but the flavor and sweetness was more consistent.
However, the smoke keeps fairly dry and is an all day smoke. Read Less
