Sillem's Linea Epoque Antique was created as a top-shelf aromatic, taking a base of smooth Black Cavendish, adding to it bright Virginias and nutty Burley, then topping it all off with fragrances of vanilla, ripe mirabelle, and cappuccino.

The now discontinued cherry almond from tinderbox, I once thought, was the king of room notes.

Sillem's Linea Epoque blows even that one out of the water.

It has the best smell and taste of any aromatic you ever tried, and the best room note.

I'm not very sophisticated in my descriptions and this review will reflect on that. I opened up the tin,closed my eyes and took a whiff. My first thought? " Damn,that smells good." I then got my new Molina bent apple #105 on fire. My first thought on the flavor? "Damn, that tastes good."....It drives me crazy that I can't express how it smells in the tin, because it's somehow familiar to me. I don't know why or how it's familiar, it just is. The room note will definitely be acceptable to those who don't smoke. Try it at least once if you like a fine aromatic. I'm looking forward to the next smoke tomorrow morning.I've already had three pipes full today and I need to reluctantly hit brakes for the time being. I'll be ordering two more cans soon while it's still available....Read More

I need to learn more about mirabelle plums, because the fruit notes here combine the sweetness of a regular plum and some of the crispness you get in a green grape or apple. Then, behind it all, meanders a quiet stream of vanilla that is creamy and mellow, and the premium leaf grounds the profile with nuttiness and subtle grain notes. Every blend I’ve tried by Sillem has been amazing and this blend is another triumph. The tin note is exotic and the tasting notes and room Notes are just as delightful! The vanilla lead, closely followed by the unique mirabelle flavors.
