ointing as an understatement, especially for the price point which for wat it is is way too high.
That being said, the tobacco is slightly sweet, with some hay notes and is delicate and refined and simple
End result is that the tobacco is refined, simple, sweet, and palatable, but for the price, the packaging and the chemical ridden box it came in that seeped into the tobacco for god knows how long, it is not really recommended..... and i am a fan of 4th Generation and Erik Stokkebye....don't buy this, the window dressings aren't worth the simple product that is decent but with the lack of quality in everything else , guess loans were due early or something Read Less

ealed. The flake is packaged in a zip lock pouch. No big deal if you planned on smoking it right away, but if you had planned to cellar it and forget about it like I did, forget about it. You will need to jar it immediately as to not loose any flavor. Now I'm left with a empty box way before I had even planned on trying it. Not worth the price for a limited tobacco that I have to jar immediately upon arrival. Read Less

This is a good flake. Just wish they sold it in tins at a better price point. Not worth the money IMO but will age well. It would be 4 stars if they threw the box out and just sold the tobacco

我觉得这个“小批量”用来说明盒子会更加恰当。盒子做工相当精致，没有一丝瑕疵，盒子两旁的金属铰链让人觉得很结实，磁吸的设计更加提升了高档的感觉，正面的喷涂画让人仿佛置身于Erik工厂，听着工人们一边制烟一边互相开着玩笑。盒子内部还配套了一个麻布袋子，可能过去就是用这种形式装着烟草来售卖的吧~买到如此精致的盒子让我觉得真的是赚到了！！！不过，随盒子附赠的100g味道类似于蓝绞盘的烟草抽吸体验实在谈不上有多好…至少不太配得上这个盒子…初衷挺好，下次别送了。

kes (which are nice and long) arent vacuum sealed at all. Infact they threw the tobacco in a zip lock baggy and called it good, then threw that baggy inside the burlap sack inside the box. Thanks. I didnt plan on smoking this right away but i guess i will. And i hate to jar up loose tobacco like this. I mean maybe im wrong, is this "humidor style box" suppose to keep the tobacco fresh ? Is it totally okay to cellar it this way? I dont this so, and jarring it up just isnt my preference to do so. So in my own way i cant give it 5 stars. I dont even want to give it 4 stars. It smokes just fine though. Nice citrus and hay notes out of the box. Smokes like a champion. Takes a little prep time to cut the flakes up, if you would like to do such a thing. But this is what I call a full flavor tobacco. Too bad about the box. Wont be buying another one of these "EXTREMELY LIMITED" quantity tobaccos, which surprisingly are still in stock. Taste is medium and mostly consistent, with notes of bread, spices, sugar, savory, orange peel/bitters, dry, floral, lemon grass, tart and tangy citrus, wood, earth, , sour hay, acidic, mild dark fruit, a semi-sweet, fermented vegetation background note, and a peppery retro. ost. This particular tobacco was kind of a disappointment from the start, as I had originally planned on cellaring it, but it came in a non sealed box in a zip lock. As such, had to dive right into it. The fragrance of it out of the bag, kind of reminds me of Escudo Navy flake, as I sense a hint of fig or other fruit. The flavor is not as good though. Out of the bag, it was too moist, and I had to let it sit about 15 mins to dry first before packing the pipe. The flavor was inconsistent throughout the bowl and was not as pleasant as the smell from the bag had led me to believe. The pipe burned a little warm compared to some other tobacco. not sure if it's me or the blend of tobacco. Best I can compare it to IS the Navy flake, which is a much more enjoyable smoke all around. Not worth the price paid Read Less

ith two parts MacBaren HH old Dark Fired Flake. That experiment was also excellent. Glad I purchased four of these. It is expensive, but it is worth it for my taste buds. I decided to jar the four containers for the cellar. I actually called in on it. Jar method was recommended. I suppose if you gift one of these right away in the original packaging, then the recipient will decide. These look packaged to be gifted. I do notice some other tobacco mixtures are canned without vaccum seal, and some are vaccum sealed. Anyway, that is what I did. Put them in rubber sealed jars, and then put away, dated on bottom. I do the same on the luxury bullseye medallions. This smoke is deeelicious. Read Less
