Connoisseur's Choice 16oz Pipe Tobacco

This is a good aromatic--packs and burns easily, not goopy, no weird flavors. It's well put together, no clashing flavors, no tongue bite (I'm sensitive to Virginias), with a pleasing natural tobacco component. It is definitely not a replacement for Mac Baren Original Choice (may it rest in peace). But it's in the same neighborhood, flavor-wise. 100% worth a try if you were an Original Choice enjoyer, but keep those expectations in check out you'll be disappointed.

Love this one with a Mai Tai. Great easy enjoyable smoke. Not a blend that will blow you away but paired with the right drink (mai tai for me) this is a great enhancer. Think comfort and island time; pipe and a cocktail type smoke for me and enough to keep in my nighttime bowls routine.

Warm comforting smoke with lots of creamy smoke. Pleasant indulgent aroma. I’ve worked this into my daily regimen. Wonderful evening smoke. Treat yourself.

havent smoked it yet. Ordered a tin when perfect plug was last in stock. I spent a month this summer with MacBaren Original Choice. And from what I can tell by tobacco, feel, smell, Connoisseur's Choice seems to be Original Choice with a lowered amount of maple syrup. And it was indeed like mac baren original choice, with a dose of coconut thrown in. I am a fan of Captain Black Royal because I can buy at the corner store. This was decent but essentially the same flavor. Makes my tongue numb more than I like. Won’t get it again, the Captain is just fine for better price and fresher.
