About This Pipe
This bent Dublin from the late Peter Heeschen is a thoroughly organic and thoroughly Danish piece, from the asymmetrically flared, gently curved bowl to the bamboo shank and stylized saddle stem. The bowl of this Dublin is much broader and squatter than most iterations of the form, and it's paired to a slender yet detailed shank with two knuckles of pale bamboo for a vibrant departure from the stummel's rich tone and smooth texture. The vulcanite stem that joins the bamboo shares its cinched-then-flared shaping about the shoulders before yielding to a concise, gently downturned bit that promises a comfortable smoke. For fans of Danish pipes with plenty of organic flair, this bent Dublin is sure to entice.
