About This Pipe
This Russet stain is hit and miss on some pipes. Sometimes a very rich contrast stain comes into view, and it's muted other times. I have a feeling that many companies look to others success for new ideas (this is true in every market). If asked to guess the manufacturer by a photo of the stain alone, I would put all of my chips on Comoys. It looks very much like some of their stains, and it makes sense.
