Lloyd's Smooth Billiard Tobacco Pipe

This stummel of this Billiard from Lloyd's is dressed in broad tendrils of flame grain that are finished smoothly and stained in a handsome brown. The bowl, a classic Billiard, is canted lightly forward from the lengthy ovoid shank, which features tight cross grain and birdseye. The stem is a long stretch of saddle-style vulcanite that pushes this piece past six inches in length, though it still manages to weigh in at less than one and one-quarter ounces. It's a very precise rendition of a Billiard, light while still fronted by a substantial bowl.
