About This Pipe

Deeply bent with a correspondingly deep chamber, Savinelli's "604 KS" is a hearty, muscular take on the classic Oom Paul shape, and in this EX-sized rendition, it's lent even more mass and chamber depth. Unlike the curling heel and rounded bowl of the marque's "614," this "604 EX" features a firmer, broader base and a more upright, cylindrical style of bowl. It maintains the shape's signature deep bend and tightly knit transition, allowing for a more comfortably smoking posture, and filling the hand easily with its substantial size.

The highest tier within Savinelli's standard lineup, the Giubileo d'Oro series presents the Italian marque's superlative pieces. Meaning "Golden Jubilee" in Italian, the Giubileo d'Oro series denotes Savinelli pipes par excellence, and the strict standards determining Giubileo d'Oro pieces mean that only 0.1% of Savinelli's total production is found worthy of the line's iconic three brass dot stem logo. As such, these pipes showcase choice grain patterns and exquisite finishes — from concisely defined sandblasts to gorgeously arrayed flame grain and birdseye. This particular example wears the line's smooth finish, highlighting the briar's natural grain in a traditional palette.
