About This Pipe
Il Ceppo was founded in 1978 by architect Giorgio Imperatori in Pesaro, Italy — a veritable hotbed of Italian pipe making. This Billiard of theirs is fronted by a traditional bowl that is rusticated up to a thin, smoothly finished ring just below the rim. The rustication continues in a similar manner down the shank, allowing for a thin, smoothly finished ring just before the face of the shank, behind which the tapered stem of black acrylic stretches.
