About This Pipe
Canadian pipe maker Michael Parks has an affinity for traditional Anglo-French shapes, but brings a modern sensibility to these timeless pipe archetypes. Parks' excellent craftsmanship is reflected by the stunning finishes and top-notch smoking qualities of his pipes. Additionally, Parks commonly incorporates exotic accents into his pipes, with Mammoth, Morta, and Horn being a few of his favorites.
A shape favored for generations, the Lumberman is characterized by a cylindrical bowl, an elongated round shank, and a brief saddle stem. Parks maintained the classic profile beautifully, rendering this piece a striking length of over eight inches. Stained in an Auburn hue, the stummel is finished in a craggy sandblast, accentuating highly textured birdseye along the bowl flanks.
