Andreas Bennwik Sandblasted Bent Brandy Tobacco Pipe

This bent Brandy from Swedish artisan Andreas Bennwik is drawn by subtle but effective curves throughout the stummel, even on the bowl. The stummel is sandblasted shallowly to draw out the growth rings while still preserving the soft texture of the briar and stained darkly, and the upturned shank falls back into a saddle stem of vulcanite dark enough to make the entire pipe appear as though it is a single piece of material at first glance. Andreas' choice to make a dark pipe is a fortunate one for us, especially given his prowess with the sandblast and eye for the fine grain he found here.
