About This Pipe
J.M. Boswell has been crafting pipes since the 1970s, with a stated mission of offering pipes from the best materials available at an affordable price point. Though Boswell is known for crafting robust designs, this particular bent Apple is fairly conservative, especially in comparison to his Jumbo-sized compositions. With that being said, the bowl here is quite plump, but it's nicely balanced out by the shank-and-stem arrangement's gentle bend, which encourages a comfortable smoking posture and adds a subtle sinuousness to the shape's profile. It's all handsomely dressed in a smooth finish that highlights some fetching grain throughout the stummel.
