About This Pipe
Maybe no one in the history of pipe making possessed as much experience as Paul Perri. Even at 100 years of age, Perri was still carving exquisite artisan pipes. He passed away in 2021, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy. Among his creations is this Pot, a handsome piece rendered with a muscular profile and exceptional grain. One aspect that adds some nice individuality to the piece is its muscular, chin-like heel, which stands out prominently in profile. Finished smooth in a bright auburn stain, this piece displays a bountiful selection of grain throughout the briar, particularly along the bowl's flanks, where beautiful streaks of flame grain run the length of the stout form.
