Sandblasted Fish (2025) Tobacco Pipe

With a background in industrial engineering and years of pipe-making experience under his belt, Italian artisan Giacomo Penzo not only produces his own pipes, but also works in Ireland as Peterson's in-house pipe specialist. Naturally, thanks to his background, Penzo's work showcases excellent engineering, and no shortage of style or character. This Fish is one of the latest offerings from the Italian artisan, and it certainly showcases his keen eye for carving.

This piece has a subtle sense of asymmetry along the shank and stem that lends it a highly organic appearance, especially in conjunction with the stummel's crisp sandblast. The bowl is charmingly plump and squat, with a smooth, chamfered rim that allows one to load up their favorite tobacco with ease. Measuring well under five inches in length, this is a conveniently compact piece, and with its high-kicking stem and light weight, it's also well-suited for jaw hanging.
