About This Pipe
Stack isn't a term that I personally have ever applied to a Tsuge Ikebana, but, to quote the immortal Ralph Waldo Emerson, "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.", and if I wanted to break this foolish consistency, I could not have chosen a finer starter than this wicked Ikebana B Grade. While the height of the bowl is only 2", the shank and bit (proper) runs only to roughly 4". I would say that a 1:2 bowl height to shank/bit ration makes this a stack, wouldn't you? This pipe seems to be really yearning for a coin tobacco, and with all that beautiful flame grain, I almost gave in. Then, of course, it occurred to me that you probably wouldn't want to purchase a new Ikebana, only to discover that some sneaky quadruped had already run a bowl through it.
