About This Pipe
In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This Rhodesian is among the workshop's more conservative offerings, featuring a sleek profile and a broad, full-bodied bowl. Said bowl possesses the shape's signature tapered rim and wrapping beadlines, the latter of which are orientated just about the transition. The overall form is dressed in a walnut smooth finish, one that highlights impressive grain throughout the stummel.
