About This Pipe

Founded by Angelo Del Prete, Il Cerchio is an Italian marque that offers handcrafted pipes prized for their harmony, balance, and consistency — qualities shared with the brand's namesake: the circle, or "il cerchio" in Italian. With a fondness for many of his fellow pipe makers from all over the world, Del Prete doesn't confine Il Cerchio pipes to just one style. Instead, they come in a wide variety of shapes, showcasing equal mastery of the Danish, Italian neoclassic, and Anglo-French styles. Many Il Cerchio pipes tend to skew on the sculptural side, but this bent Apple has a slightly more reserved silhouette, with highly compact proportions to match.

The plump-heeled bowl ebbs forward gracefully, continuing the flowing movement established by the upturned shank and arcing stem. Measuring well under 4.5 inches in total length, this pipe lands squarely in Nosewarmer territory, making it an excellent option for a smoker on the go. The curvature of the shank and stem, along with the pipe's overall light weight, allow it to be easily hung from the jaw, and the compact design allows it to be easily slipped into a pocket or tucked away for travel. Del Prete's signature sandblast dresses the stummel, offering a wealth of stimulating texture and imbuing the piece with a warm, rich color palette that makes a fetching backdrop for the creamy band of Elforyn at the junction.
