A pioneer of the Pesaro school, named after the location of his workshop, Guidi and his partners elevated the more whimsical aspects of Italian neoclassic designs to new heights, creating an immediately recognizable aesthetic that continues to inspire. This Rhodesian is a fine example of that style, placing a pert bowl atop a tapered, subtle heel, capped with a beadline-delineated rim that tapers upward to a flattened upper rim. Out back, a pinched transition gives way to a round shank that joins a tapered stem of black acrylic at a gleaming silver accent. Dressed in a ruby-tinged iteration of the Rusticato finish, the stummel offers a wealth of engaging texture for the fingers to explore.
