Sandblasted Bent Brandy with Silver (Floodlight Double Special) Tobacco Pipe

Though Musico is an Italian marque, their pipes tend to hew closer to the Anglo-French carving style — occasionally deviating with small, whimsical touches here and there. This bent Brandy from Musico features a rather bowl-centric composition. The bowl is not only tall, with ample chamber room for a favorite tobacco blend; it's also quite curvaceous thanks to a plump heel from which the walls rise with a swift taper to the rim. Out back, a thick, tight-knit transition introduces a short, upturned shank adorned with a domed silver mount. Said mount holds a pressure-fit stem of vulcanite whose deep bend at the bit makes promotes a comfortable clench. Finishing off the ensemble is a craggy, earthy sandblast that reveals the briar's dense grain in delightfully textured detail.
