About This Pipe
After working at both Castello and Caminetto, Luigi Radice founded the Radice workshop along with his son in 1980. Radice has since become one of the most recognizable marques in Italy, offering quality pipes marked by bold Italian neoclassic proportions. Approaching Nosewarmer proportions, this Billiard from Radice measures just over 5 inches long. Compact yet hefty, this pipe is a good option for travel while ensuring you don't sacrifice any smoking time due to its sizable tobacco chamber. Up front, the walls of the bowl rise to form the traditional cylindrical shape as they reach the flat rim. The arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement is sturdy, maintaining balance with the brawny bowl. The stummel is dressed in the workshop's famous Rind rustication, save for the rim, which was left smooth for contrast.
