About This Pipe
After working at Castello and Caminetto, Luigi Radice founded the Radice workshop with his son in 1980. Radice has since become one of the most recognizable marques in Italy, offering quality pipes marked by bold Italian neoclassic proportions. A sure Sitter, this Canadian from Radice features the shape's characteristic features with an elongated ovoid shank and a concise tapered stem. At the fore, the cylindrical bowl houses a deep tobacco chamber insulated by walls that stretch from heel to a flat rim. True to Radice's neoclassic style, the robust bowl holds most of the visual weight of this piece and offers plenty of substance to contour the hand. Dressed in the workshop's iconic Rind rustication, the stummel offers a wealth of texture for the fingers to enjoy.
