About This Pipe
Based in Pesaro, Italy, the Rinaldo workshop was founded in 1987 when two brothers, Elio and Guido Rinaldo left their positions at Mastro de Paja to start their own endeavor. Since establishing their workshop, they've never looked back, working alongside each other in harmony to produce around 1,500 pipes annually. Showcasing their bold, signature style, this bent Bulldog is one of the latest offerings from the Italian marque.
This is a thoroughly Italian rendition of the classic bent Bulldog shape, with a shapely bowl paired to a thick, swiftly bent shank-and-stem arrangement. Deviating from the standard pair of beadlines found on most Bulldogs, this offering is adorned with not two, not three, but four four beadlines, with the second one carved bolder and wider than the others for additional emphasis. The stummel showcases a wealth of hearty grain, which is accentuated by a rich, smooth, auburn finish that pairs perfectly with the translucent, coffee-colored stem. A band of silver at the junction introduces a flash of cool metal to the palette, and offers a tasteful dose of pizzazz.
