Autograph Smooth Paneled Bent Dublin (6) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Autograph series consists of unique, limited-production shapes crafted entirely by the hands of the workshop's most experienced artisans.

This paneled bent Dublin is a geometric, Egg-like rendition of the classic shape. It comprises an interesting juxtaposition of curved and flat panels that soften the shape, especially around the heel and the bowl's aft wall. The heel is softened in a manner unlike many other Italian pipes, foregoing the style's usually defined heel. At the top, the rim is chamfered for easy loading of tobacco, and the smooth-finished interior shows off the workshop's rigorous attention to detail. Thanks to the bowl's gentle forward cant and the supple curve of its back panel, the transition is smooth and round, leading into a square shank and, eventually, a demurely bent saddle stem.
