La Pipaccia Sandblasted Bent Dublin (16) (S2) Tobacco Pipe

Based on pipes that Giancarlo Guidi has seen smoked by fishermen and mariners around Pesaro, La Pipaccia series pipes all feature interesting silver work and briar shank extensions. This particular example sports a lovely, detailed sandblast on the dublin shaped bowl. The light brown/dark brown contrast stain does an excellent job of highlighting the blast, which contrasts nicely with the silver and the smooth briar shank extension. If you're thinking that this pipe would fit the hand, like a perfectly broken-in fielder's glove, you'd be right.
