Sutliff - Z92 Vanilla Custard
Good, Creamy Vanilla
This is not a straight vanilla tobacco. Instead, this is a vanilla with a creamy undertone. The vanilla isn't overly sweet and there is no chemical taste, either while smoking or afterward. The room note is what you'd expect - pleasant and sweet. I have smoked this is filtered cobs, unfiltered cobs and in several different briars in my rotation. No complaints at all. If you want a vanilla that doesn't taste like you're chewing on vanilla beans or chugging vanilla creamer, this is it. The tobacco is dark and moist. You may have to relight it eventually, but in my opinion, why smoke something you wouldn't want to relight? (And yes, I've smoked tobaccos that I couldn't wait to go out - they were THAT bad.) The tin note smells like you can eat it. When I'm in the mood for something vanilla, this is my go to.

Great Stuff
I have smoked almost an entire can of this now. There is a subtle sweetness at first light; however, the Perique and Kentucky take over from there and it's a well-balanced spicy smoke from there with a good smokiness. The taste is light to the tongue though and not overbearing. A perfect blend for an everyday smoke. I smoke Englishes and other non-aromatics mostly and this is one of my favorites. Highly recommend if you can get your hands on one.
