About This Cigar
Aging Room cigars are the industry's highest rated boutique blends, they've established themselves as one of the most exciting, craft oriented brands in the industry. Rafael Nodal, a now well-established blender in the industry, has a long history with music as a part of his life. He grew up playing the violin, and has stated that for him creating cigars is much like creating music.
First released in 2014, La Bohème has returned to the stage for an encore. The line is named after the famous opera by Giacomo Puccini, which shows the Bohemian lifestyle of a poor seamstress in France and is one of the most frequently performed operas worldwide. For Nodal, the original cigar was created as a tribute to the cigars that his grandfather would smoke in a small park near their home in Cuba. This new release is a look to the future for him, representing his three passions: music, cigars, and Cuba. The original release was made by Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, now they are made at AJ Fernandez's main factory in Nicaragua. The blend features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with the binder and filler coming from Nicaragua, offering a robust body with subtle notes of sweetness. You can see the performance this cigar displays in four vitolas, shown here is the Mimi.
