Smooth Deco Reverse Calabash with Silver Tobacco Pipe

Craftsmanship is the name of the game for German artisan Werner Mummert, particularly when it comes to his deep, craggy sandblasts and fascinating sculptural designs. This particular work of Werner's can only be accurately described with the word "psychedelic," given its absolutely stunning coloring from bit to bowl.

Swirling, rounded shapes of yellow, orange, blue, and white decorate the entirety of this smooth Poker, which is titled a Reverse Calabash due to its employment of the special chamber of the same name that collects excess moisture while the pipe is smoked and requires the shank to have a little extra muscle. A silver accent ring offers a brief respite from all that color, but not for long: Werner also managed to replicate the coloring of the stummel in vulcanite for the tapered stem that backs up the muscular shank. Werner's use of color and flair for the dramatic is on grand display here with an offering sure to satisfy any fan of extraordinarily colored pipes.
