Onyx Coffee Lab was founded in Rogers, Arkansas, in 2012 as a specialty coffee roaster but has grown significantly over the years through its mantra of "Never Settle for Good Enough." A solid decade or so of hard work and hardware taken home from the U.S. Coffee Championships brought the company to where it is today, forming partnerships in multiple countries on multiple continents to find, roast, and serve sustainable and quality coffee while operating several cafes throughout northwest Arkansas. Their headquarters location in downtown Rogers was named the best coffee shop in the world in 2026.

Onyx's Cold Brew beans are produced specifically for cold extraction, and their end product yields notes of cocoa, dates, brown sugar, and stone fruit. Low acidity allows this coffee to mix well with dairy fats, making it perfect for a dash of milk or half and half. The beans originate from Colombia and go through the washed process after harvesting, meaning machines remove the skin and most of the fruit of the coffee cherry shortly after picking. The remains are then soaked to ferment and remove any fruit left behind before drying, in this case producing beans that will generate a perfect, creamy cold brew every time.
