About This Pipe Tobacco
Enhanced with condimental tobaccos, Seattle Pipe Club's Mississippi River Special Reserve elevates Joe Lankford's original masterpiece with a selection of rich red Virginias, Orientals, Latakia, and Perique. These tobaccos are aged and then pressed and cut into plugs. Available here in a 2oz. tin.
From the Tin: "I've been dreaming of this Special Reserve edition of Mississippi River. It's my treat for you. Rare leaf is pressed in cakes, aged and cut into plugs for you to slice or crumble as you please. The Virginia is some of the best I've smoked. Even though the tin note has vinegar, it dissipates pretty quick. This actually a little closer to the old P&C version. Has a little more body and flavor than MR. A little sweeter, smoker, and fuller but no drastic differences. Has a touch of tang from the vinegar but not over powering.
Over all its better. Not worth $21 a tin but if I had a itch for it then this would ve the version I'd get....Read More
