Love this stuff, reminds me of my aunts flower shop. Somewhere in the blend is this musty vintage rose essence that’s quite green but its character weaves in and out of existence throughout the bowl. Don’t quote me though, it could just taste like any old English to you.

I absolutely love this blend and have for years. My cellar is stuffed with this cause you never know they've exchanged hands a couple times already but I hope this stays forever now that C&D has it now. This blend never disappoints anytime I reach for it. Anytime of the day is right for this one. Very Good Stuff: Smoke it the right way

It took me a while to figure out how to smoke these cake cuts. All this time (±20 years) I have been rubbing them out, and this has ruined the experience every time. Hence, I have never enjoyed most cake-cut blends. But I have recently discovered the "secret" to enjoying a cake-cut blend such as Plum Pudding: Do not break it down! Do not rub it out. Do not reduce it to crumbs. Leave it whole! Tear off a chunk of the cake and just shove it right into the pipe, as is. Stuff it in there. Stuff in a chunk big enough to fill the bowl while leaving room for expansion. If you do this, Plum Pudding will become one of the loveliest things you've ever put in your pipe. The Virginias are sweet and bready, the Perique is fruity, the Orientals are spicy and sour, the Latakia is smoky and incense-like. It is such a winning combination. I wish I had discovered this two decades ago. I could have been enjoying Plum Pudding all this time. Oh well, here's to the next twenty years! (Yes, I did buy it here at Smokingpipes. I bought two of these eight-ounce tins in the same purchase. I don't understand why Smokingpipes is taking away "verified buyer" indicators.)...Read More
