The first of Joe Lankford's great blends, Seattle Pipe Club's Mississippi River features rich red Virginias spiced with Orientals, Latakia, and Perique. Available here in an 8oz. tin.
From the Tin: Mississippi River appeared to Master Blender Joe Lankford in a dream. Awakened from a sound sleep he grabbed a pencil and scribbled a recipe before the memory faded. Next morning those notes created a Virginia blend like no other. Mississippi River was born. The rest is history in a tin. Enjoy the rich Virginias pressed in cakes with Oriental leaf, a pinch of Latakia and Perique.
