Erik Stokkebye's 4th Generation "1882" Founder's Blend is an outstanding, very robust tobacco. It pairs well with coffee or a stout beer. If you love a good English, you won't be disappointed here!

acco pleasantly cool and underlines the background with light incense. An alkaline, salty note is mixed with an astringent effect that lovers of Irish tobaccos call perfumed. Something like the scent of a fine soap. Overall, it's exceptional and something that encourages you to sip comfortably and mindfuly enjoy the components. Latakia is leading with Kentucky, Oriental/Turkish and Virginia supporting. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is great....Read More

No dull or harsh spots to be found. The strength and taste levels are medium. This is a very enjoyable blend, one that I could easily smoke any time.

Taste was nutty/ carmelly notes from burley, got some spice, and at times had a Virginia moment where it had the leafy flavor which then went into the bitter note that for me was a bit of Latakia. The Dark Fired Kentucky lent a smoky note that was subtle. This blend is now a favorite for sure. FYI the Tin had 14 month's of age on it...Read More
