Yep, the name says unscented, but I do pick up a faint Lakeland aroma, and that's a GOOD thing! I've never had a better flake tobacco. This stuff is nothing short of perfection. I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive, lol.

这个草没有甜味，有湖区味，胡椒味，白肋烟糯香，但是就是不甜，这让人不太容易抽动，喜欢甜味草的可以略过，不喜欢甜味草且喜欢湖区味的应该很喜欢，另外，基草质量非常棒。我19年买的，两年了，没有什么甜度上的变化。

보통벌리를 즐기다보면 조금심심하다라고 느낀다리고하는분들이많다. 나도그중하나이다. 하지만 벌리가주는맛은 맛동산이라는과자보다는 새우깡같은 조금은심심한맛이다. 벌리와버지니아의조합이 자칫비릿힐수도있지만 이번만은 아닌것같다. 분명 즐기면서 태웠다. 그이상일지도모른다. 살짝 중간중간에 올라오는 기분좋은 텁텁함은 달큰하기만하다보면 질릴수있는 포인트를 잘잡아준다. 그래서인지 더욱더 태울때 즐겁기만하다. 벌리와버지니아의 적절한조합이 이리즐거을줄이야!!^^

cco flavor. These three flavors bend very well together. As the bowl progresses the Lakeland Essence fades and the sugar flavor gains some strength. I have smoked it in both BCA and My Mixture seasoned pipes with equal enjoyment. It needs to be somewhat sipped to prevent tongue bite, but bites fairly less than straight VA. Read Less

Taste is medium and very consistent, with notes of sweet grass, wood, peaty hay, bread, floral, spices, earthy, semi-sweet nuts, savory, citrus, , spicy, leathery, vinegary fermented vegetation, acidic, a ripe dark tangy fruit background note, and a peppery retro. This flake as always comes wet but 30 minutes dry time and you have an excellent smoke like HH Burley Flake with Gawith flare. I would smoke this all day everyday and be happy if it just came dryer and you didn’t spend 1/4 of you money on water.

ced, too simple, kind of toneless, but at the same time biting.
It's not that kind of simplicity which makes some tobaccos your everyday smoke cause there's nothing annoying or something you can get bored with. It is just inexpressive, featureless, boring tobacco.

淡淡的甜味 能抽出GH特有的味道，但是很淡，K草和B草的风味也是若隐若现，感觉添加的并不多，不辣，很柔顺。养了一年多，很容易就出霜了。斗温偏高，燃烧性很好，易控制。总之是一款不错的草。

I opened a 7 year old jar and the lid blew off upon opening. This turned from very good to off the charts good in 7 years. Sweet bread virginias rounded by the burley. Top shelf smoke!

ss in the aftertaste, not often, and not in every bowl I smoked, so go figure; very evanescent. This offering packed and lit very easily and smoked clean and dry all the way to the bowl's end. It was neither hot or bitey. A very pleasant smoking experience with a subtle, dry and muted sweetness, a bit chocolaty, a fair amount of nicotine presence, pleasant side stream aroma, and mild to medium taste in the tobacco department. It emits a fantastic room note. After smoking a bowl I went into another room and after a while, the remaining room note from where I was smoking entered into where I was. It was very old-world pipey in aroma and immediately brought back memories of the smell emanating from the pipes of those pipe smokers of my youth - very comforting (reminded me of Capt. Black White). Nothing fancy about this one, and way better than SG's Best Brown Flake or Full Virginia Flake, but along those lines. I also enjoy it more than G&H's own Best Brown Flake offering. No complexity here, but in its simplicity lies its strength. This is a high quality, well prepared pipe tobacco and I am happy I tried it. Definitely to enter my rotation, and enjoyable enough for me to have as a daily smoke. Pure tobacco goodness. Read Less

ted. I have come to love the light lakeland essence residue in this blend. The blend is mushroomy and blueberry. This blend is similar to Stonehenge Flake. I like the Gawith Brown Flake Unscented better due to the combination the stone fruity dark VAs and the musty Dark Fired Kentucky. This blend bit me at first but then I started smoking it with a 9mm filter which cools it down for me. I highly recommend this as a light introduction to the lakeland essence and the Gawith blends in general. Read Less
