rthy tones while also giving some tongue tickle and spice from the orientals. The pefect name for this blend, as when you are smoking it, you will be forced to sit back, and reflect on not only the goodness you are tasting and smelling, but just reflecting on good thoughts, vibes, and good times overall.

This is a bold strong tobacco. I'm surprised it get only 3 stars for strength I'll give it 4. The blend is great and the bold flavor continues from start to finish. I've put this at the top of my favorites list.

w and most for aging, I saw I have four Captain Earle blends. I wanted to open something more "English"...and I see I have three tins each of three Earle's blends, but just one tin of 'Reflections.' So I looked at the star-ratings and saw Reflections was the lowest rated of the four I have. I then found the tin and noticed it's dated June 2022; one month shy of two years old. So I popped its lid and broke apart the biscuit. When I lit it up...I was really enjoying it. Couldn't quite yet declare what I was tasting, but was pleasing nonetheless. It was a bit better, though, the first half of the bowl. I found myself thinking about experimenting and adding a touch more Latakia. So I smoked this in my Clarin: Canadian Clay; it was a bit on the dry side, but wasn't too dry. It was tasty, again couldn't put my finger on what I tasted. It was smooth and easy on the tongue. But it gave me a bit of "retro-hale" bite in the nose. And no unpleasant aftertaste. I will smoke it in a few Cobs and Briars and then return to *edit* this review when I've gotten halfway through this tin. So for now I give it 4★ today...in keeping with the average you all give it. Four stars is my rating given for "I like it and will likely keep some around to smoke from time to time, not daily, and because I agree with 4★'s. Only 'Daily' gets 5★'s from me. Read Less

Taste is medium and consistent, with notes of wood, leather, bread, fermented sour vegetation, stewed spiced fruit, sugar, hay, toast, floral, sweet savory, tangy citrus, rich earth, herbal, dry, acidic/spicy, orange peel/zest, a lemon grass background note, and a peppery retro. Oriental/Turkish is leading with Virginias, Latakia and Cavendish supporting. Burley and Kentucky are cheering from the cheap seats. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is great. I found this balanced, smooth, and well-behaved as far as burning goes. But I'd say the flavor is a bit TOO balanced - it's so very even that nothing stands out. It's not at all bad, but it's not particularly great either.
