About This Pipe Tobacco
Peterson's 2015 St. Patrick's Day blend received such a positive response they've reintroduced it, here, as the Founder's Choice, part of the "Founders Collection" of three tobaccos honoring Charles Peterson and the Kapp brothers Henry and Fredrick. For those who missed out the first time around, it's a mixture of Virginia, Burley, and Oriental tobaccos, pressed and cube-cut, then mixed further with black Cavendish and more Virginia. Finally it's flavored with rum, in addition to the aromas of mango and vanilla.

al lighting, but soon after died down to background notes. Vanilla stayed around the longest. Taste is medium and mostly consistent, with notes of vanilla, spiced rum, mango, brown sugar, orange peel, molasses, mildly herbal, bread, nutty, dry, wood, mildly savory, spicy, floral, hay, sweet grass, earth, acidic, a semi-sweet ripe dark fruit background note, and a peppery retro. This is the king of flavor country. It is easily the most exciting aromatic tobacco that I have ever smoked. You can taste the fruit.You can taste the rum. It has enough spice to taste exotic. I smoke Virginia flake almost exclusively and this tin has changed my world.I am stocking up.

After searching for the best part of a year I can say that I found a tobacco I really like. I really taste the mango and the tobacco is just the right strength for me. Like all aromatics you need to smoke it slowly.
