Great Blend

Exactly what it says. Lots of citrus, bit of hay and great natural flavor with little bite for a brighter VA. My tin had about 2 years age and will definitely be something I start to put away in the cellar.
Initially Deceiving

At first this smokes as if it were heavy with Oriental; very warm and even a little harsh. But it quickly mellows into what it is - a true Virginian blend. Not bright or grassy, mind you, just full of body and earth, and exceedingly pleasurable if your bowl is deep and your cadence reasonably paced. As someone who leans towards Virginia leaf as a whole I’d say this blend might best be enjoyed in winter, or at any time of the year when the course of the day, though well run, is by no means spent....Read More

Tin note of sugar, spices and hay. Tobacco is a ready rub of yellowish tan and brown. Moisture content is great. Burns slow with few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium and mostly consistent, with notes of spices, floral, bread, wood, fermented vegetation, earth, sweet grassy, tart and tangy citrus, moderately savory, sugar, orange peel/zest, mildly spicy, a mildly sweet hay background note, and a peppery retro. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is great....Read More

This blends beautifully with cavendish. They perk each other up and provide a pleasant spiciness. It's also tasty for a pinch of "chaw" when you don't have the space for a smoke.
Very Nice
