Wow, this tobacco surprised me

I bought a pound of this tobacco a few years back and just popped the jar to give it a try. I used a cigar cutter to cut thin slices and then rubbed it out. After letting it dry for about 30 minutes I lit it up. This tobacco is amazing. It has a sweetness that is subtle and a nice strength to it. I smoked the bowl packed almost to the top down to ash not wanting it to end. Someone else mentioned bite from this tobacco but I experienced none whatsoever....Read More

I have found that if you slice this as thin as possible (akin to a shag cut when rubbed out) I am able to keep this lit a little better. I let it dry out for 30 minutes and do the gravity method for packing the pipe. This is a strong tobacco no doubt. The whisky is there but isn't over powering. It's a dark tobacco with a heavy mouthfeel but there is sweetness lingering about. Certainly one of my favorites....Read More

The taste of wine is very obvious, and the combination of wine and smoke is very good. The humidity is moderate, and the wake-up time is about 5 minutes. After ignition, the suction still provides a very comfortable wine aroma, making it a good aromatic spice.
