Refbjerg Smooth Handicraft 'Profile' Smooth Billiard with Horn Tobacco Pipe

Straight and firm in style, but still kept seamlessly smooth in form, this is a nice execution of a Danish-style straight Billiard from Refbjerg. There's a very gentle taper to the rim here which reminds me a bit of a Brandy, with the low-set waistline ensuring a comfortable feel in hand, while the look of things falls wonderfully in line with Danish traditional design. Accented with a pale band of horn and paired to a tapering stem, this piece displays a robust, refined character that is accentuated by its deep walnut stain, the bowl showcasing lovely flickers of flame grain all around.
